Viet Hoa, nestled in Woodville Gardens, is a vibrant pho restaurant that has quickly garnered a reputation for its delicious offerings and authentic Vietnamese flavors. Customers rave about the rich and aromatic pho broth, describing it as a “warm, comforting hug” that elevates the dining experience. The variety of beef noodle options, including Phở Tái, Nạm and Phở Đặc Biệt, cater to diverse palates, and many diners find themselves returning to savor more.
While the ambiance is lively, which reflects the restaurant's popularity, the compact space can lead to tight seating arrangements and occasional long wait times. Based on 567 reviewsViet Hoa is widely praised for its authentic and flavorful pho, with many customers highlighting the rich, aromatic broth and tender beef as standout features. The restaurant’s bustling atmosphere reflects its popularity, though this often leads to long queues and a busy dining environment. Service is generally described as efficient and friendly, albeit occasionally rushed due to high demand. Seating arrangements tend to be tight, which may affect comfort during peak times. Despite minor service and space limitations, Viet Hoa’s consistent food quality and reasonable pricing make it a favored destination for pho enthusiasts in Woodville Gardens.
This bustling restaurant is always alive with energy, and for good reason—the food is phenomenal. We had the pho, and it was absolutely stunning. The broth was rich and aromatic, and every bite felt like a warm, comforting hug. To complement the meal, we tried the lychee iced tea, which was refreshingly sweet and the perfect pairing to our dish. Despite being so busy, the staff were efficient and friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Viet Hoa truly delivers an authentic and flavorful dining experience. We can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu!
Good pho with reasonable price. Service was average. Long queue and the staff rushed us to order. Very tight space to sit in with other customers
Good food, friendly staff, only downside is that sometimes the pho is out of demand
Tried the famous pho and it lived up to all the hype. Delicious broth, noodles and meat we had Pho Tai Nam Gau (beef noodle soup with beef fillet, brisket and crunchy fat brisket) and a combination broken rice with a salted ice coffee. Quick and friendly service as there is always a line out front. If you come before 11.30am it will be easier to get a table.
Great Vietnamese Chinese cuisine as suggested by the name. You come here for the food not for the service :) So don’t expect much warm welcome from them. The shaking beef with fried rice and beef phos were ! The beef was so flavorful and tender. The pho broth was also so delicious that I drank all of it. As a pho lover, it’s one of the best I’ve had, definitely better than most pho shops in the US. PS the portions were pretty big too so come hungry.
The food was prepared with fresh ingredients. The broth was quite tasty and hot enough. Attentive service and reasonable prices. 4.5 stars Thanks! Update: We came back last week, and they’ve now simplified the menu mainly to pho & rice dishes, and introduced a new dish, hủ tiếu khô - dry vermicelli noodles with seafood, which was so yummy. The pho broth was still tasty and served nice and hot, and the ingredients were fresh as usual. Portions are decent & prices are fair. The service is attentive & friendly. 4.5 Cảm ơn/ Thank you!
Tried the combination pho here, the broth was rich and flavorful, beef slices were tender and just the right thickness. The portions are generous, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. We also ordered the salted lemon juice (refreshing!) and the herbal jelly with coconut cream and coffee (a unique and tasty combo).
